Your Guide to Monthly Rentals in Milan

A month or more in Milan is the best way to live the city like a local: your own kitchen, your neighbourhood café, the evening walk along the canal. Here's how monthly rentals work.

Rent directly from the host

Agencies in Milan often charge one month's rent plus VAT. Renting directly from the host removes that cost and gives you one person to talk to before and during your stay.

What to expect

  • Minimum stay: usually 28–30 nights.
  • Price: one monthly amount, often with a monthly discount compared with the nightly rate.
  • Contract: a registered transitional lease for stays over 30 days.
  • Bills: check whether electricity, heating and Wi-Fi are included.

A Milanese neighbourhood: Turro and the Martesana

Our studio in Turro is on the seventh floor, two minutes from the M1 and three from the Naviglio Martesana, with 24-hour supermarkets and the NoLo district nearby. Read the neighbourhood guide.

Book your month

Pick your dates in the calendar on the apartment page: you'll see the estimated total immediately, including the monthly discount and tourist tax. See the apartments.
